I'm a picker living in Western North Carolina and I travel the country seeking out old and forgotten garments. Part historian, part archaeologist, part preservationist, and full-time storyteller.

I've been dealing in vintage and antique textiles for 15 years now and I do what I do because I love it. I love the thrill of the hunt, I love the history, I love the look in someone's eye when they find that PERFECT item in my shop, I love meeting new and interesting people, hearing the backstories, and traveling the backroads.

I'm a pretty free-wheeling, laid-back, guy. Just as happy to sit and talk as I am to rummage through your attic or barn. If you want to deal with someone who's both friendly and experienced, I'm your guy!

Hey, there, I'm Elisa.

I'm originally from Chicago but I've been living in the south for the past 15 years. I inherited a love of antiques and vintage from my mother - I also literally inherited some of her clothing. I've drifted a bit from those original victorian and designer pieces over the years and find myself drawn more toward the well-worn pieces. The ones with a lot of character.

I approach textiles from a restoration standpoint. I learned to sew as a child and continued to hone my skills during college working on embroidered art. Today, I spend my time repairing the endless piles of ripped-up jeans, shredded dresses, and other damaged clothes that Ramsey brings into our shop.

Even though I'm mostly behind the scenes and behind the sewing machine, Ramsey loves to drag me out to remote barns, estate sales, and his wild goose chases. So, I'll see you out on the road!
